Lucy S is a panoramic-only device designed to be set on a table or tripod mounted; it's a great solution for video production and tight spaces.
These simple steps will help you unpack and setup your Lucy S quickly and correctly.
How do I use Lucy S?
-
Remove Lucy S from its packaging. Place it on a level surface or use the 1⁄4"-20 threads on the bottom to mount it to a tripod.
-
Remove the protective film covering the camera tube. Connect both Lucy and the laptop to their respective power adapters.
-
Plug Lucy's USB cable into the laptop and power on the laptop; the password for the laptop is Lucy.
-
Launch Lucy Capture.
-
The first time you use Lucy, you will need to set up a dotspots account at: http://www.kogeto.com/

-
Once you have done this, please send an email to support@kogeto.com, informing us of your username.
-
Kogeto will set up a folder on our server for your videos and contact you with a Server Username and a Server Password.
-
In Lucy Capture you need to click on the box in the lower right hand side ("Advanced Settings"), then "Unlock Admin Controls" on the lower left.
The password is k0g3t0. The third box down is called: Video directory on CDN— change the contents of this box to say /lucycapture/.
Now click on the tab labeled "FTP" in the upper left hand side.
The Server Address must be changed to drop.kogeto.com, the Server Port to 21, the Server Username to your personal login and the Server Password to your personal password.
After this you will be ready to shoot! LucyCapture currently records to AVI and converts to MP4 format after dewarping and compression.
LucyCapture automatically sets focus, white balance, sharpness, and color. You have the option to manually control any of these settings via the Settings menu.
